Fortunato Belgrade

Fortunato Belgrade is a venue that aims to blend sophistication with a nod to Italian culinary tradition. The space is modern yet elegant, the kind of place where you imagine closing a business deal over a glass of well-chilled wine.

Taster #1 started with an Insalata Caprese that looked the part but lacked the fresh, ripe ingredients that give this dish its iconic simplicity. It was saved by a Cotoletta Bolognese that delivered in spades—rich, perfectly seasoned, and paired with thoughtful sides. The meat was high quality, cooked with a confident hand.

Taster #2’s Saltimbocca ala Romana was an intriguing dish. While well-seasoned and featuring tender meat, it failed to capture the authentic essence of its Roman roots, leaving one to wonder if authenticity was even the goal.

The food and drinks offer revealed some ambition but played it safe. While the wine selection impressed with its range and impeccable serving temperature, the rest of the bar menu felt pedestrian in contrast to the finesse of the main courses.

Service was smooth, professional, and attentive without veering into overbearing. From a well-executed coat check to spotless menus and thoughtful table service, the staff ensured comfort. The ambiance, with its perfect lighting and stylish decor, added a layer of refinement.

Fortunato Belgrade offers a dining experience that flirts with greatness, delivering moments of indulgence within a polished, inviting setting.
