Taster #1 started with an Insalata Caprese that looked the part but lacked the fresh, ripe ingredients that give this dish its iconic simplicity. It was saved by a Cotoletta Bolognese that delivered in spades—rich, perfectly seasoned, and paired with thoughtful sides. The meat was high quality, cooked with a confident hand.

Taster #2’s Saltimbocca ala Romana was an intriguing dish. While well-seasoned and featuring tender meat, it failed to capture the authentic essence of its Roman roots, leaving one to wonder if authenticity was even the goal.

The food and drinks offer revealed some ambition but played it safe. While the wine selection impressed with its range and impeccable serving temperature, the rest of the bar menu felt pedestrian in contrast to the finesse of the main courses.

I had the pleasure of dining at Plezir with several tasters, including myself.

The tasting menu was a sensory overload of orgasmically-delicious, rich tasting, and well-seasoned dishes, which were matched with mouth-watering side dishes. The quality of meat used in the dishes was top-notch and fresh, which added to the overall appeal of the food.

The full bar offered an excellent selection of wine by the glass and had a good selection of homemade bread. The desserts were great and presented in a visually appealing way. The food presentation was excellent, and the wine was served at the perfect temperature, enhancing the overall dining experience.

The attentive staff made sure our glasses were always refilled, and they were friendly and accommodating. Additional spices and appropriate utensils were readily available to us, and the clean napkins and menu paper made a great impression on us. The high-quality glassware and dinnerware added to the overall elegance of the dining experience. The menu was available in English, which made it easy for all of us to navigate.

The ambience was fancy and had an industrial design, which created a modern and stylish decor. The comfortable seats and appropriate lighting arrangement added to the overall comfort of the dining experience. The cigar smoking lounge and interesting toilet added to the unique atmosphere of the restaurant.

In conclusion, the dining experience at Plezir was excellent. The finger-licking food, attentive service, and elegant ambience made it a memorable dining experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience.
